Department of Dermatology – Residency Program Director – Medical Dermatologist 

 

The Department of Dermatology at Eastern Virginia Medical School is growing. We are seeking faculty to join our team-based practice: 

  1. A medical dermatologist to oversee our ACGME accredited dermatology residency program
  2. Medical and surgical dermatologists 

The Department of Dermatology at Eastern Virginia Medical School has opportunities in both our main hub in Norfolk and the satellite practice in Virginia Beach. We offer Excimer laser, narrow band ultraviolet light and photodynamic therapies. The department is active in clinical trials and cosmetics. 

 

Opportunity Details:

  • Successful applicants will work with our 8 dermatology residents, mentor our students and participate in high quality patient care.
  • We offer a newly renovated, state of the art facility.
  • Sub-specialization will be encouraged and supported. 

The greater Hampton Roads area, which includes Norfolk and Virginia Beach, has excellent schools and is family-friendly, while offering beautiful beaches that span over 29 miles of the Atlantic Ocean. Waterfront property abounds as well on the many rivers and the Chesapeake Bay. The overall cost of living is very reasonable.
