Pediatric Emergency Medicine Needed for Clinical Position and Faculty with EM Residency

The University of Central Florida (UCF) College of Medicine in partnership with Osceola Regional Medical Center is seeking a board certified Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician for core faculty in the EM residency. Primary shifts will be at Osceola Regional Medical Center and providing educational support to the new ACGME Residency Program.

Qualifications need to include FL Licensed Board Certified in EM (ABEM or AOBEM) + Minimum of 2 years of ED experience (post-residency). Preferably Peds EM fellowship trained. Need to have had peer reviewed articles. Employed by partner Sheridan, position(s) are ready to interview and hire immediately.

•80,000+ annual patient visits

•50-bed ED, 20 -bed Ped’s/fast track

•Certified Chest Pain facility, STEMI PCI center, JCAHO Stroke Center

•Fast Track area staffed with 48 hours PA coverage

•PDoc – Patient Documentation

•Provisional Level II Trauma Center 

•Academic Teaching Facility

•Main ED staffed with 61 hours EM physician coverage, 22 hours Ped’s,  57 hours of PA coverage + Scribes
