We are currently seeking: Laboratory Breast Pathologists; Laboratory Dermatology Pathologists; Multi-Specialty/Surgical Pathologists; Hematopathologists. We offer a competitive salary and benefits.

As a full-service regional reference laboratory with close proximity to New York City, Pathline Emerge is committed to providing innovative and progressive pathology diagnostic information that supports and enhances crucial decisions with the commitment to improve patients’ health. We provide the highest level of testing quality and service to meet patients’ needs. We work in partnership with physicians and hospitals to consistently provide optimal patient care and unique solutions to their most challenging needs.

Pathologists work together with the lab director in providing outstanding services to our clients. Duties include, but are not limited to: test menu expansion; mentoring of medical technologists; quality assurance, quality improvement, regulatory compliance; efficient communication with clients, clinical and administrative staff; results interpretation and test sign-out.

 

Requirements

As an ideal candidate, you enjoy working in a fast-paced, client-centered/facing reference lab environment. You possess very strong diagnostic skills necessary to work in a busy diagnostic service lab and can manage growing case volumes. You exhibit excellent character, professionalism, leadership qualities and possess excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.

Eligible candidates must be board certified in Anatomic Pathology and/or Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology. Applicants must have an M.D. degree (or equivalent) and preferably more than three (3) years of post-fellowship experience. Strong candidates with less experience will be considered; a strong academic background with demonstrated academic accomplishments is also desirable.

Applicants must be eligible to provide services for Medicare and Medicaid participants. Licensure or eligibility for licensure in New Jersey and New York is required. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US.
