PRECISION PEDIATRICS

The Michigan State University College of Human Medicine Department of Pediatrics & Human Development and Helen DeVos Children's Hospital and Physicians seek investigators in the study of pediatric precision medicine. These positions are part of the Global Impact Initiative. Areas of interest particular to these positions include neuroscience and the roles of epigenetics and genomics in developmental biology. These positions will be based at the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine's Grand Rapids and East Lansing campuses.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to collaborate with a broad range of clinicians and investigators at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital, Spectrum Health, and the Van Andel Research Institute in Grand Rapids, Sparrow Children's Center in Lansing, and Hurley Children's Hospital in Flint. Potential collaborators at MSU include investigators in the College of Human Medicine's Departments of Pediatrics and Human Development; Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Biology; Family Medicine; Internal Medicine; Psychiatry; Translational Science and Molecular Medicine; Physiology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology; Microbiology and Molecular Genetics; and Pharmacology and Toxicology. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Only candidates holding an MD, DO, and/or PhD in a relevant field will be eligible for consideration. Physician candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible, and all candidates must be eligible for appointment in a tenured or tenure-track position in the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. A strong track record of extramural funding is preferred.
