FACULTY PEDIATRIC OPHTHALMOLOGIST

We seek a full-time, board-eligible/certified pediatric ophthalmologist to join the Boston Children’s Hospital’s Ophthalmology Department, with a faculty appointment at Harvard Medical School at the Instructor/Assistant Professor level. Our faculty practice includes a team of 18 pediatric ophthalmologists, 3 subspecialty faculty affiliates (based at Mass Eye & Ear), and 6 optometrists serving patients in 10 locations throughout Eastern Massachusetts, including Boston Children’s Hospital and Mass Eye & Ear sites. We also have an unparalleled basic/translational research enterprise, with 5 full-time and 4 closely affiliated vision science researchers collaborating with our clinicians.

We continue to expand in our mission of providing our patients with ready access to the highest quality pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus care. Our work extends across the full spectrum of clinical care, teaching, vision science, and advocacy. We pride ourselves on having a knowledgeable, accessible staff focused on care, research, and teaching and are looking to add a motivated, well-trained individual who shares in that vision. Read more about our team at www.childrenshospital.org/eyes.

Interested candidates should send a CV and brief introductory cover letter (PDF format) to Eric Aho, Executive Assistant to the Ophthalmologist-in-Chief (hunter.admin@childrens.harvard.edu). For phone queries in advance of submission, please call 617-355-6766.

All inquiries will remain confidential.
