The Division of Infectious Diseases and Immunology, in the Department of Medicine, is seeking a full time Clinician Educator at the Assistant, Associate, or full Professor level, focused on infectious diseases in transplant patients at the NYU Langone Medical Center.  Development of the NYU Langone Transplant Institute provides a unique opportunity to help guide the rapid growth of Transplant Infectious Diseases at a thriving Medical Center and School of Medicine in New York City.

The candidate will provide inpatient and outpatient clinical services in the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases in solid organ and hematopoietic stem cell transplant patients, will collaborate with members of the NYU Langone Transplant Institute and the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology and provide mentorship to our Infectious Disease fellows. Additional opportunities for quality improvement initiatives, medical education and research are available.


The ideal candidate must have a strong academic background, considerable experience in infectious diseases in transplant patients, and teaching experience. Applicants must be committed to providing patient care as a member of a cohesive, multi-disciplinary, fully integrated transplant team.   Our focus is on safe, high quality patient care, teaching and research.  We have active residency and fellowship programs, as well as a committed and highly qualified team of transplant coordinators, nurse practitioners, administrative and support staff.
