Comprehensive Ophthalmologist The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of California, San Francisco is seeking applicants for a full-time faculty position as a comprehensive ophthalmologist. This individual will join the comprehensive ophthalmology division and is expected to serve as a clinician educator with an emphasis on resident cataract and anterior segment surgical instruction. Candidates must have a record of excellence in clinical care and teaching, and exceptional anterior segment surgical teaching skills are required. REQUIREMENTS: Qualified candidate must hold an MD degree and have completed an approved residency program in ophthalmology. Candidate must be board certified (ABO) or board eligible. Candidate must also have a California medical license or be eligible for a full, unrestricted licensure. Knowledge and proficiency in cataract and anterior segment surgical instruction is required.
