HERSHEY, PENNSYLVANIA (USA). Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Children's Hospital and Cancer Center and Penn State College of Medicine is seeking an academic surgical pathologist, tenure- or non-tenure track, open rank. Anatomic Pathology is a subspecialty practice with annual surgical pathology volume of >46,000 cases. Subspecialty areas of particular interest include pediatric and bone and soft tissue pathology.
The successful candidate will join a strong, collegial department of 44 faculty members in Anatomic, Clinical and Experimental Pathology. The department has a fully accredited residency program, 4 ACGME-accredited fellowships, and participates actively in undergraduate and graduate medical education and graduate school teaching. Support for collaborative and independent research, including intramural funding, professional development programs, and faculty mentoring are provided. Board-certification or eligibility in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and eligibility for medical licensure in Pennsylvania are required for the position.
